Never Everett is a story about a family full of unpleasant people. It follows the twin son and daughter of a megalomaniacal senator who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in 1996.

The story itself takes place in 2006 in and around Boston, Massachusetts. When Val (aforementioned brother) loses his job and has to crash on Bede (aforementioned sister)'s couch, they are forced to realize how awful they are at coping with things like losing their dad and having grown up in a house that was maybe haunted. And then it gets worse!
